At Bon Vivant, we believe that travel inspires students to become lifelong learners, through hands-on contact with social studies, language arts, science, mathematics, arts and technology. Our itineraries are designed to make it easy for students to learn about these topics in the best outdoor classroom possible.
The power of educational travel
Enrolling your child on an educational trip is a great investment in their education. Students are immersed in the history and culture of the destination and discover a new environment through fun-filled activities. They get to experience text-book material in real life. Parents often comment on how much their children talk about the history learned when they come back from the tour. Bon Vivant tours are purposeful and engaging. In order to help students prepare for their trip and make the most out of this experience, we develop educational units that students can do in class. Take a look at our resources section and see what we’re all about!
Taking part in the experience
Whether joining the trip as a chaperone or taking part in a fundraising activity, there are many ways to be part of the experience. We encourage students as well as parents to read about the travel destination and the many activities included in the tour beforehand. You can find information on our blog throughout the year. You can also follow your child while on tour via our Facebook page and our Twitter account.
Bon Vivant Educational Tours carries industry-standard liability insurance, as do all of our suppliers. Organizing a school trip is no small responsibility and we want to make sure that you feel comfortable partnering with us. To ensure maximum safety during the trip, we use new luxury coaches, clean modern hotels with night time security and work with tour directors that stay with the group 24/7. We also offer toll-free phone assistance 24/7, so that you can easily contact us in case of an emergency.
Bon Vivant Educational Tours is unmatched for the price-quality ratio of its tours. The final cost of each tour depends on the duration, the hotel, the activities chosen, and also, on the number of participants. As the cost of the bus is a major part of the total cost, we work with teachers to maximize the occupancy of one or two buses to ensure that the cost stays as low as possible for each participant.
We work closely with teachers to ensure that the trip organization runs smoothly. We provide them with all the necessary information so that they can pass it on to you. Shall you have any questions, you can contact us directly by email or phone. We’ll be happy to assist you in any way we can. Here are a few resources that we’ve put together for your convenience:
